KENNETH D. BRAZLE

In 1984, I was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas to practice law in the state of Texas, and opened up my first law office in New Braunfels. I partnered with David Pfeuffer in 1991 and we practiced law together in New Braunfels and the surrounding counties until 2019. I am now the sole proprietor and attorney at Kenneth D. Brazle, Attorney at law. I have been Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1991 in the area of Family Law. I have been named annually as a Super Lawyer by Thompson Reuters in the area of Family Law for the years of 2008 through the current year. To be a member of The College of The State Bar, a lawyers must attend at least 30 hours a year of continuing education. I have been a speaker and moderator for multiple legal seminars over the years in helping provide continuing legal education for other lawyers. I am also often asked to speak to various non-lawyer organizations and or panel discussions providing answers to legal questions within the community.
At Kenneth D. Brazle, Attorney at Law, we maintain an office in which real people answer the phones and greet you when you come to our office. Our staff is experienced, friendly, helpful, and like myself, always maintain client confidentiality. We understand legal fees are expensive and that most legal matters are stressful. If you hire us as your law firm, our goals are to try to help reduce some of the stress you are feeling from your legal matter, resolve your legal issues quickly and economically and when possible achieve the result without contested litigation. However, when a matter must go to the courtroom I have been handling trials since 1984 and I am very familiar with the courtroom.
I grew up on a working farm in the Flint Hills of Kansas and still have relatives and a family farm in Kansas and consider Kansas my second home. I have been a resident of New Braunfels since 1969 and graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1975. I attended Texas A&M University before transferring to UT-Austin and receiving my BBA there in 1979. In 1984 I graduated from St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio. Throughout my years in New Braunfels I have been involved in various civic organizations such as Hospice, The Twenty Four Club, Landa Recreation Center and the City of New Braunfels Golf Advisory Board. I have run and directed numerous City of New Braunfels Adult Recreational Sports Leagues in Basketball and Flag Football and have coached youth sports in basketball, soccer and softball. I have been active over the years in the First United Methodist Church as Youth Director, a member of the Praise Band and on various boards within the church. I am currently the President of a Golf Club without land called Dos Rios Golf Club, I play in a classic rock band called THE CRAZE and I continue to play both basketball and golf recreationally. I have been married to Debra Brazle for over 30 years and we enjoy living in and being active in the New Braunfels community. We have two grown daughters, Leah and Lane who we are very proud of.
Dawn Hatch received her AAS in Legal Assisting in 1986 and has been with Kenneth D. Brazle since 2010. She assists in handling cases and helping clients throughout the course of the case.
Her hobbies and personal achievements include being a Certified Texas Master Naturalist and Commissioner on Wildlife Management, holding a position with the Advisory Commission in her hometown of Garden Ridge, as well as hiking, gardening, and volunteer work with the Texas Master Naturalist Program with Texas Parks and Wildlife.

LEAH BRAZLE
Leah Brazle has been around the Kenneth D. Brazle, Attorney at Law firm all of her life as she is the older daughter of Ken Brazle, the firm’s attorney and owner. After receiving her BFA in Theater Design and Technology, with emphasis on Costume Design and Technology, from Texas State University, Leah was invited to come to work for her father. She apprenticed with her grandfather, Mr. Calvin Brazle and learned the everyday operations of the business. She has been with the firm since 2014 in several capacities.
Leah is now the Office Manager for Kenneth D. Brazle, Attorney at Law and she is proud to have been able to continue the job her grandfather had with the office. She states that she loves learning new things and is constantly challenged by the dynamics of the law firm.
She enjoys sewing, video games, creating art, and spending time with friends, family, and her beloved pets in her free time.
